Aurora Staining Gels
Aurora Staining Gel is a water-based, semi-transparent wood stain. The stain is designed to be used alone or layered together to create endless, exciting color combinations and can be applied directly to any porous surface such as raw wood or chalk-type paint. (** If your piece has any varnish on it, you’ll need to remove that before applying Aurora Staining Gels). You can definitely create one-of-a-kind pieces with these staining gels.

How to use: (** Shake well before use). Apply stain with a brush or a rag directly onto unfinished wood surface. Wipe away any excess using a clean lint free rag. Apply a second coat and/or third coat to achieve a darker color if desired. Use a water-based top coat to further protect and seal the surface.
To layer stains: Select a group of complimentary colors. Draw a circular or linear pattern using multiple stain colors (squirt thin separate lines) onto surface. Using a foam brush or the palm of your hand, gently drag across the bands of stain, blending them together to create a multicolored effect. Drag in a linear motion keeping lines straight for best effect.
This is a relatively new product, and we have not yet stocked all colors. Heirloom Traditions Paints has selected several combinations of complimentary 4-color packages which can be ordered through our online shopping link and shipped directly to you! |
